In 2024, Bard became part of a wider project and was renamed Gemini.

Google has stated that artificial intelligence is currently a key topic they are working on and investing significant resources into. Research and development in this area focuses on creating models that can process and generate natural language efficiently. The predecessors of Gemini Bard were, for example, BERT, MUM or OERT.

As reported by The Verge , Google is also adding several new features to its Gemini Bard AI chatbot. Bard, for example, can currently respond to prompts that contain images. An interesting new addition is also the ability of the tool to tell you the answers to your questions in spoken form. This function will be available in more than 40 languages.

Working with this tool is easy. Just go to the Gemini website, sign in with your Google account and type your prompt into the search box. You can write it in text format, upload it as an image or press the microphone and use your voice to speak (you can also speak in Slovak, amongst other languages). Then press enter and within a matter of seconds, you will have your answer.
